Kimball's Service Center at Route 108 and New Hampshire Avenue will be closing over the next few days.  Many people in Ashton have being getting their cars serviced there for years and have found that they provide excellent and personalized service.

• October 17, 2006 Plan for Northeast Corner has been filed

A design for the development of the northeast corner of the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650) and Ashton Road (Route 108) has been submitted by the developers, Fred Nichols and Willard Derrick, to Montgomery County Park and Planning.

It is our understanding that the plan includes a gas station, a car wash, a convenience store, a retail building and a number of parking spaces.  The SSARPC Steering Committee has some concerns about the plan.
