EZ Storage Open Meeting

Siena Corporation is requesting approval from the county to build a storage facility (EZ Storage) in Sandy Spring.  The location is where WH Rental was on Route 108, across from the Sandy Spring Museum, approximately 1,300 feet east of Norwood Road.  The meeting on May 6 will explain the project and notify those attending to their right to participate in the review process.  Siena Corporation will provide copies of the proposal for viewing at the meeting.  This meeting is the pre-application meeting required before filing the preliminary plan application with Montgomery County.

The SSARPC Steering Committee has not yet developed its comments on the plan.  Members of the committee will be attending the meeting on May 6.

The notice of the meeting says:  “If you have any questions, or if you cannot attend in person and wish to submit written comments, please contact Debra Borden at 301.961.5250 or dborden@linowes-law.com.  You may also contact the planning department:  Development Review Division, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910.”  Letters should have “Attn: EZ Storage – Sandy Spring” included so that it will be easier to get the letter to the right person.

The SSARPC would like to get copies of your comments.  Please send them to feedback@ssarpc.org
