Comments to the Planning Board on a pending plan should be sent at least 10 days in advance of a scheduled public hearing, although comments received later will still be considered, if time permits.  At other times it is generally best to write to the Planning Staff.  Letters asking for changes to an approved plan usually will not be considered.  Letters to the Planning Board are generally sent to the appropriate staff member to draft a response.  At the top of the letter, identify (name and both application numbers) the project being discussed.  The application numbers are
